Yousign × Hodor

Yousign MCP, through Hodor

Yousign doesn't have an official MCP server. Hodor exposes the Yousign API as Model Context Protocol tools — with identity, policy, audit, and a kill switch — so your agents can safely launch signature requests and track signed contracts.

Yousign is a European, eIDAS-compliant electronic signature platform used by legal, sales, and HR teams across France and the EU.

The gap

Why Yousign doesn't have an MCP — yet

1

Yousign has a full REST API for signature requests, but no official Model Context Protocol server — agents need a secure bridge to call it.

2

Signing flows touch legally binding documents. A raw API token with full account access is a compliance and liability risk you can't audit.

3

Without policy enforcement, an agent can launch the wrong signature flow, leak signer PII into prompts, or fire reminders against templates it shouldn't touch.

How it works

Yousign as MCP, in three steps

  1. STEP 01

    Connect Yousign to Hodor

Authenticate once with your Yousign account. Hodor stores the credential securely and never exposes it to agents.

  2. STEP 02

Hodor exposes the API as MCP tools

Every Yousign endpoint becomes a typed MCP tool. Scope per agent, set policy, and define rate limits at the gateway.

  3. STEP 03

    Agents call MCP through Hodor

Any MCP-compatible agent — Claude, Cursor, Dust, n8n, custom — connects to Hodor. Every call is checked, logged, and attributed.

What your agents can do

A subset of the Yousign tools Hodor exposes as MCP. Enable, disable, or constrain each one per agent identity.

Built for production

Identity, policy, audit — by default

The same controls Hodor applies to every integration apply to Yousign: per-agent identity, scoped tools, real-time policy enforcement, full audit logs, and a global kill switch.

Agent identity

Every agent gets a unique, revocable identity. Every call is attributed.

Scoped policy

Fine-grained tool access, rate limits, and field-level restrictions enforced at the gateway.

Full audit trail

Every call logged with payload, identity, and policy outcome — SOC 2 / ISO 27001 ready.

Kill switch

Revoke any agent in one click. Hodor blocks all downstream calls instantly.

Common patterns

What teams build with Yousign + Hodor

Sales agent that closes the loop

When a Pipedrive deal hits Won, the agent generates the contract from a template, populates signer fields, and sends via Yousign — scoped to the contract template only.

HR onboarding copilot

Auto-launch offer letter and NDA signature flows for new hires. The agent can only use HR templates and can only send to verified work emails.

Legal status tracker

Read-only agent monitors pending signatures, escalates blocked flows, and posts a daily digest — with zero write permission against Yousign.

Vendor & procurement automation

Procurement agent issues vendor agreements from approved templates, capped at a configurable monthly volume and a maximum contract value.

FAQ

Yousign MCP, answered

Does Yousign have an official MCP server?

+

Not as of 2026. Yousign exposes a REST API for signature workflows but does not ship a native Model Context Protocol server. Hodor wraps the Yousign API into MCP tools that any compatible agent runtime can call.

Is the Yousign MCP gateway eIDAS-friendly?

+

Hodor doesn't change Yousign's legal compliance — every signature still flows through Yousign's eIDAS-compliant infrastructure. Hodor adds an attribution layer on top: every agent action is logged with identity, timestamp, and policy outcome, which is exactly the audit evidence regulators expect.

Can I restrict which templates an agent can use?

+

Yes. Hodor lets you scope an agent's Yousign access by template, signer domain, contract value, or any other field — enforced at the gateway before the call reaches Yousign.

What happens if an agent misbehaves?

+

Hit the kill switch. Any agent identity can be revoked in one click — Hodor blocks all downstream calls instantly, including any in-flight signature requests that haven't been finalized.

How do I get started?

+

Book a demo. We'll connect Yousign, scope the signing flows your agents are allowed to launch, and demonstrate policy enforcement and audit live.
